healthfinder® and healthfinder® espagnol: Your Free Guide to Reliable Consumer Health & Human Services Information
healthfinder® and healthfinder® are free guides to reliable consumer health and human services information, developed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. healthfinder® can lead you to selected online publications, clearinghouses, databases, Web sites, and support and self-help groups, as well as government agencies and not-for-profit organizations that produce reliable information for the public.
The healthfinder® Web site has been developed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, in collaboration with other Federal agencies. The project is coordinated by the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (ODPHP), with the active participation of a Steering Committee composed of representatives of the Federal agencies whose information is included in healthfinder® and nonfederal consumer health information specialists, librarians, and others actively engaged in the provision or use of online consumer health information. Significant support for the project is provided by the National Health Information Center.
