National PTA Outreach to Parents with Disabilities

The National PTA is working to increase parent involvement in the education of children in all communities. It is looking for success stories from parents with disabilities who have been actively involved in their children's school and education. Specifically, the National PTA is seeking tips to help other parents with disabilities get more involved in their children's education. The National PTA would also like to know about the barriers you encountered in trying to get involved with your child's teachers, local parent groups, or school activities, and how you overcame those barriers.
