Microsoft-AAPD Federal Internship Program for College Students with Disabilities

The American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD) and Microsoft Corporation are proud to announce a unique summer internship program designed specifically for college and university students with disabilities. The Microsoft-AAPD Federal Internship Program is made possible through a generous grant from Microsoft, and will be administered by AAPD. In its 2003 inaugural year, this paid internship program will provide ten students with disabilities who are interested in pursuing careers in information technology (IT) with the exclusive opportunity to participate in an 11-week internship at a federal agency in Washington, D.C. The goal of the program is to provide college students with disabilities who have a demonstrated interest in IT careers the opportunity to participate and benefit from highly sought after federal internships.

College students with disabilities must complete an official application or call (800) 840-8844 (voice/TTY) if you need an alternate format.

For more information or to apply, please visit the AAPD Web site.
