Federal Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities Opens

The National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities (NCBDDD) was officially established at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on April 12, 2001. This new center was created by the Children's Health Act of 2000, for which UCP is a strong advocate.
