DOT Internship Opportunities
The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) is now accepting applications for the One-DOT Minority Serving Institutions (MSI) Student Post-Secondary Internship Program (SPSIP. The One-DOT MSI SPSIP is one of DOT’s work force planning activities that targets college students from diverse social and cultural backgrounds, i.e., Hispanic Americans, Native Americans, African Americans, Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, and students with disabilities. Students are recruited to work in various fields that closely match over 60 fields of academic study and must be at least a Sophmore with a 3.0 GPA. This program provides valuable work experiences for minorities and students with disabilities who are interested in pursuing careers in the transportation industry.
Students will have an opportunity to intern in various regional offices of the Department, as well as in the Washington, D.C.-metropolitan area, and their academic course work is supplemented with study-related work experience. See more detailed information regarding the program or apply online here.
