    National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI) is a grassroots, self-help support and advocacy organization of families and friends of people with serious mental illness, and those persons themselves.

    NAMI's mission is to eradicate mental illness and to improve the quality of life for those who suffer from no-fault brain diseases such as schizophrenia, depression & manic depression, schizoaffective disorder, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder and borderline personality disorder.
