    The Mental Health Information and Referral Service was established by the Mental Health Association NSW Inc (MHA) in October 1985. MHA is a non-government, non-profit voluntary organisation, which has provided information to the public since 1932.

    Aims of the Service

    • To provide reliable and up to date information on mental health care services and to allow for easy access to the general public.
    • To liaise with other mental health services in order to provide a comprehensive and accurate referral database.
    • To research and list new mental health services.
    • To provide accurate and easy to use information and to distribute it as quickly as possible.
