    The University Affiliated Program at Oregon Health Sciences University is part of a federally funded network of approximately 60 programs nationwide. The mission of the University Affiliated Program at Oregon Health Sciences University is to empower individuals with developmental disabilities to improve the quality of their lives by developing, enhancing and sustaining culturally sensitive areas of support systems which function across the entire life span and include all domains of daily life.

    This mission is accomplished through partnership with individuals with developmental disabilities, their families and the larger community as we engage in:

    • Interdisciplinary leadership training.

    • Exemplary service.

    • Model development.

    • Research and dissemination.
