    Matrix is a private nonprofit organization founded in 1983 to fill the need for parent support for families of children with special needs in the North Bay. Matrix has grown from a strictly local volunteer effort to the vital organization that it is today with local, regional, and national affiliations. Matrix provides services to families primarily in Marin, Napa, Sonoma, and Solano counties.
