The Auxilary of the National Letter Carriers' Association Scholarship

    For applicants who must use speech reading as their customary form of communication. Also offered are the Elise Bell Grosvenor Scholarship, the Federation of Jewish Women's Organizations (New York) Scholarship and Meritorious Award, and the Volta Scholarship. Applicants must have been accepted by or be attending a regular college or university for hearing students. Applicants must be deaf men or women who were born with a profound hearing impairment or lost their hearing student. Applicants must be oral deaf men or women who were born with a profound hearing impairment or lost their hearing before acquiring langauge skills. Candidates are considered on a competitive basis. Deadline: April 15 (annually).
