    The incidence of autism spectrum disorders is increasing and it affects many individuals and families in Florida. In response to the needs of these people, six nonresidential resource centers have been established at Florida State University, the University of Florida in Gainesville, the University of Florida at Jacksonville, the University of South Florida, the University of Miami, and the University of Central Florida.
