The Access Board enforces the ABA (Architectural Barriers Act), ensuring accessibility in facilities built, altered, or leased using certain Federal funds. It develops the ADAAG (Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines), which are minimum accessibility guidelines for places of public accommodation, commerical facilities, state and local government facilities, and transportation vechicles and facilities. The Access Board is also charged with developing accessiblity guidelines for telecommunication equipment and customer premises equipment.Phone: (800) 872-2253
