    For the past several years, MATP activities have placed increased emphasis on required activities under the re-authorized Tech Act.

    These areas include:

    • Efforts to increase the timeliness of service delivery.

    • Additional training of individuals with disabilities to self-advocate and provide leadership and services within their communities.

    • Increased outreach to under-represented populations, such as the elderly.

    • Increased outreach in rural areas.
