UCP Services

UCP offers a wide range of services across the country. Browse the links below to find out more about programs in your community.


Counseling
Experienced social work staff provide short-term and long-term counseling to individuals and families. Staff with disabilities provides peer counseling.

CRISIS INTERVENTION/EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE: Staff offer support and guidance to help secure needed resources during times of crisis.

EMPLOYMENT COUNSELING: Counseling for the job seeker with a disability includes skills assessment, resume writing, interviewing techniques, and assessment of vocational and educational goals.

INDIVIDUAL AND PUBLIC ADVOCACY: Staff and volunteers work on federal, state and local levels to obtain more responsive, adequate and effective services for persons with disabilities and their families. They also facilitate the strengths, skills, and initiative of individuals, families, agencies, and communities to solve the problems faced by persons with disabilities. Our ultimate goal is to assist people to advocate for themselves.
