Adaptive and Inclusive Sports and Recreation
Physical fitness through activity and exercise are significant factors in the health and well-being of all children and adults - including those with cerebral palsy. Children with disabilities should be encouraged to develop a lifetime "habit" of physical activity through early involvement in adapted sports and recreation opportunities.

UCPAGI, in addition to funding for adaptive sports and recreation equipment (through its DL Sports Fund) provides lists of adapted and inclusive sports programs throughout Indiana for children and adults with cerebral palsy and other disabilities.

Contact the UCPAGI Case Manager or refer to list.

Desired Outcome: Hoosiers with cerebral palsy will have access to modified and inclusive sports and recreation programs.

For more information about Adaptive and Inclusive Sports and Recreation, please contact UCP at (317) 632-3561 or send an e-mail.
