UCP Occupational Therapists collaborate with parents to determine a child’s needs and develop play-based activities that are incorporated into a child’s daily life. We provide support for families while they make learning and growing fun for their children.

From building with blocks to writing and cutting, UCP Occupational Therapists are knowledgeable in fine motor dysfunction and can develop activities to build strength and coordination as well as to adapt activities to increase a child’s participation.

Our Occupational Therapists and Speech Therapists work closely together to evaluate and treat feeding & swallowing disorders.

As experts in sensory processing, we introduce techniques to families that encourage a child to self regulate, increase attention, and tolerate sensations in his/her environment.

Occupational Therapists can be a resource for adaptive equipment (spoons, cups, toys) and sensory motor items. Our Equipment and Resource Lending Library allows families to borrow items for use in their homes and community.
