November is National Family Caregiving Month
Recent research about child development underscores the importance of environment and experiences. UCP affiliates have significant specialized experience in meeting the needs of young children with disabilities and their families with diverse programs that can help children of all abilities. UCP affiliates provide services reanging from early intervention services and technical assistance to child care providers who want to include children with disabilities in their programs to full-day child care.
At the national level, UCP is actively engaged in advocacy efforts to ensure the availability of quality services for children and adults with disabilities, including early intervention and child care, among others.
