Social Security / SSI

SSA Publications in Alternative Formats

People who are blind or visually impaired can get copies of the Social Security Administration's (SSA) publications in a variety of different formats simply by requesting them. Alternative formats include braille, audio cassette, floppy disk and enlarged print. Callers can get information about Social Security disability, retirement and survivors benefits, Supplemental Security Income, Medicare and many other topics.
