Since 1988, B.C.S. Recycling Specialists has specialized in the recycling and proper disposal of electronic waste (e-waste) including computer systems, computer components, laptops, iPods, LCD TVs & monitors, desktops, hard drives, digital cameras, excess/obsolete inventories, ink jet/toner cartridges, gaming systems, laptop batteries, phone systems, circuit boards, GPS units, cell phones, rechargeable batteries and PDAs. B.C.S. prides itself on diverting 100% of all e-waste, (over 3,000,000 tons per year,) from the landfill, either by recycling or reuse and with over 20 years in business, we can find a home for almost everything. As owner/operators of their facility, B.C.S. has 55,000 sq. ft. of yard space and 45,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space allowing us to handle larger quantities of recyclable material. In addition, the B.C.S. physical plant is secured with cameras, alarmed gates and doors, and no foot traffic is allowed without appointment.

The proper disposal of e-waste has rapidly become a growing concern in the waste management industry and from a data security viewpoint for consumers as well. Including being ISO 14000 certified, all of B.C.S.' services are in full compliance with California's tough environmental standards, including AB 939 Waste Reduction Act and California Code of Reg. Title 22 Section 66273 regarding the handling of CRT's (computer monitors.) B.C.S. utilizes government standard data erasure programs and offers certificates of destruction for data sensitive projects. B.C.S. has received awards from CAL MAX for their efforts in diverting e-waste from the landfill and is a proud member of the International Association of Electronic Recyclers, National Recycling Coalition, California Resource Recycling Association, and Recycling Association of Minnesota.
