Been Denied SSI? You Can Help
A researcher doing work with a project at Johns Hopkins University is looking for individuals to interview for a paper on the Supplemental Security Income (SSI) Redetermination process. She would like to talk to people who lost their SSI through general redeterminations and especially those who lost it at age 19, through the required redetermination. She would like to write about why this happens and what happenes to people who get "redetermined". Whether you have appealed or not, whether you were successful or not, she would like to talk to you.
If you are interested, please contact Julie Sipchen at 773-465-3200. Include your name, age, phone number and a bit of your story, and Julie will forward your interest.
