Ride Without Limits to Benefit People with Disabilities

Thousands of dedicated men and women from all walks of life will unite and start training for a challenging weekend-long cycling event in four cities to raise awareness and funds for United Cerebral Palsy and people with all types of disabilities.

Participants will embark on this remarkable journey in San Diego, Portland, North Carolina and Tampa Bay, riding up to 200 miles over two days, with the collective message that people with disabilities can live a life without limits. With 75 percent of net ride proceeds benefiting local UCP initiatives, the dollars raised by riders will directly support programs in their community. Riders are encouraged to get started in January to allow plenty of time to “get ready to ride” this fall.

Riders are fully supported from registration to the finish line, with fundraising tips, training tools, and encouragement provided along the way by Ride Without Limits staff. During the Ride Without Limits, a comfortable camp is provided for the night, complete with sleeping tents, hot meals, showers, and medical services. In the camp, riders have the chance to hear stories, share experiences and gain a deeper understanding of how the ride can change the lives of people with disabilities.
"The Ride Without Limits is an opportunity to push your limits while helping people with disabilities live full, independent and productive lives,” said David Carucci, Executive Director of United Cerebral Palsy of San Diego County. “We are thrilled to be hosting this exciting, life changing event.”

Get ready to change your life. Get ready to make a difference. Get ready to ride.
