Policy Makers Resource from the March of Dimes

Newly released, the second edition of The March of Dimes Data Book for Policy Makers: Maternal, Infant, and Child Health in the United States is now available. The Data Book includes national and state data highlighting the problems of infant mortality, birth defects, low birthweight and preterm births, health insurance coverage for women and children, and prevention strategies. The format is an easy-to-use resource guide intended to be helpful to public policy makers and others seeking quick facts at their fingertips.

The Data Book includes the latest available information as of October 2000. Except where noted, all data are for the United States.
