UCP Hagerstown Expands Facility, Services for Area Residents with Physical Disabilities
UCP College for Living Launches in Conjunction with Opening
UCP of Maryland’s Hagerstown Center will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house in May to commemorate the opening of its new, expanded facility and the launch of its signature program College for Living, a unique structured college curriculum adapted to fit the skill level of UCP’s clients.
The event will be held Friday, May 4, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at UCP’s new Hagerstown Center, at 118 East Oak Ridge Dr., Suite 2000, in Hagerstown. The event is free and open to the public. There will be tours and light refreshments following the ribbon cutting.

Founded in 1953 and headquartered in Baltimore County, the agency serves people in Baltimore City and 18 counties in Maryland, providing special education and therapeutic services for children, as well as residential services and in-home support, day programs, respite care, and assistive technology.
