Easter Seals UCP North Carolina Provides Meaningful Employment Through Businesses

Photo of African-American man working with papers(May 26 – Raleigh, NC) Chief among the life goals of most adults is the desire for a meaningful career and the economic self-sufficiency and respect that comes from work. Unfortunately, achieving employment is not an easy task for people with severe disabilities.

To provide employment opportunities for people with disabilities and to provide services for North Carolina’s communities, Easter Seals UCP North Carolina operates two businesses: Copymatic Document Solutions and Supported Employment Training (SET).

Copymatic is a nonprofit digital print business with the primary mission of providing high-tech jobs for individuals with disabilities who work alongside individuals without disabilities. Their services include digital printing, copying/binding, graphic design, bulk-mail services, customer documentation, and storage and inventory management.

Supported Employment Training (SET) secures job opportunities for people with disabilities and then provides the support of a hands-on trainer. Across both the state and nation, SET is known for innovation and leadership in developing quality supported employment services.

To learn more about the on demand services provided by Copymatic Document Solutions or the employment solutions provided by Supported Employment Training, contact Jane Phillips.
