    The American Self-Help Clearinghouse is a not-for-profit service organization that increases the awareness, utilization, and development of self-help support groups and networks across the country. Established in 1990, the Clearinghouse provides free consultation assistance to those individuals interested in starting needed new member-run national/international rare disorder support and information-sharing networks that currently do not exist.
