    The National Clearinghouse on the Direct Care Workforce supports efforts to improve the quality of jobs for frontline workers who assist people who are elderly and/or living with disabilities. These workers have many titles, including:
    • Nurse aide, nursing assistant, or certified nursing assistant (CNA)
    • Home health aide
    • Personal assistance worker
    • Personal care attendant or home care attendant
    • Direct support worker
