    The Illinois Council on Developmental Disabilities (ICDD) is dedicated to improving the lives of people with developmental disabilities through advocacy, systemic change and capacity building.

    State councils, such as ICDD, enhance opportunities in employment, community living, health care and other areas so that people with developmental disabilities can enjoy their lives to the fullest extent possible.
