Advocacy Tools: Media Advocacy

Reaching the media can be an important means to get your advocacy message to more people who will rally for your cause. UCP is pleased to offer an online service to facilitate contacting your Members of Congress and local news media, and to quickly check Congressional votes and retrieve legislation.

Red, white and blue button reads: 'Contact Congress'Just click on the Contact Congress button and send a personalized or pre-written message to your Members of Congress, thus increasing the volume of messages supporting various positions on an issue. You also can send an online press release, letter to the editor or similar message to any or all of your local media, including newspapers, television and radio stations, local magazines, and locally-focused Internet sites. These services are free to UCP Web site visitors.
