Description
Inclusion Facilitators assist with the inclusion of children or teenagers who have developmental disabilities in child care programs, after-school programs and recreational activities.

Requirements
Applicants must be reliable, flexible and LOVE KIDS! Part-time positions are available Mon-Fri afternoons (varying hours between 1:30-5:30 p.m.) $10.64-$12.00/hour.

Depending on the individual needs of the person receiving respite care, this position could include general supervision, entertaining, feeding, dressing, personal care and behavior support. Inclusion Facilitators are responsible for maintaining appropriate interactions with people with disabilities.

SKILLS/ABILITIES
Interest and experience working with people with disabilities.
Ability to engage people and help them develop and realize their potential.
Energetic and Enthusiastic.
Ability to consistently be somewhere in a timely manner.
Initiation and the ability to work independently.
Ability to maintain a positive attitude through stressful situations.
Skill to assess situations quickly and respond appropriately.

TRANSPORTATION
A valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, liability coverage and a personal vehicle are required for most positions. (This program may provide transportation for clients. Responsible driving is a must.) There are some opportunities located on the bus-line.
