Fish For Our Cause
The Young Professionals Board is gearing up host the 2nd Annual United Cerebral Palsy Inshore Fishing Tournament on Saturday, May 9th, 2009.
Fishing will start at 5:00 a.m. that Saturday, and
weigh-in will run from 1:00 p.m. through 6:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted. The tournament headquarters and weigh-in station will be the Chocalotta Bay Landing (a public launch) located on the causeway. Tickets are $25 per person, and all persons in the boat must have a ticket. Pier fishermen are welcome to participate.
Categories for the competition include Speckled Trout, White Trout, and Flounder. Prizes will be given in each of the three categories from first through third place and winning entries will be based on size of fish.
Tournament tickets are available at United Cerebral Palsy of Mobile, Southern Bama, Quints, and Tackle This Shoot That, McCoy Outdoor Company. Also, the YPB will be selling this year's tournament shirt at the weigh in and via pre-order at UCP's Mobile office.
