It's Time To Go Hog Wild
MOBILE, AL – Day passes UCP's 9th Annual BBQ Championship & Hog Wild Festival are now on sale! These tickets are available at UCP’s office located at 3058 Dauphin Square Connector in Mobile. The cost is $10 per day. Kid’s 12 years old and under get in free with an accompanying adult.
The festival will be held on Friday, March 12th and Saturday, March 13th at the Greater Gulf State Fairgrounds. Over 70 professional, semi-pro, and amateur teams will fire up their grills for a chance to win trophies, cash and prizes. In addition, festival-goers can take part in judging the People’s Choice competition, where backyard and semi-pro teams will provide free BBQ samples from 11am to 2pm on Saturday.
Gates open Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There will be live performances at the City of Mobile music stage, NBHA barrel horse racing, a fun kids’ area (complete with inflatable rides, carnival games, arts & crafts, etc.), and much more.
All event proceeds go to benefit United Cerebral Palsy. UCP of Mobile provides over a dozen programs throughout south and central Alabama with a focus of helping adults and children with disabilities.
