Local company makes UCP 'Brighter'
The Venturi Brighter Day Employee Fund, Inc. recently granted $5,000 to the Mosaic of Hope capital campaign as an Opportunity Level donor. Brighter Day Committee representative Don Gutknecht presented UCP Administrative Director and Marketing/Events Coordinator Tracy Cieniewicz with the donation Oct. 3 at a Venturi, Inc. employee breakfast.
“On behalf of the clients and staff of UCP, we are greatly honored and most appreciative of this generous contribution from the Venturi Brighter Day Employee Fund, Inc.,” UCP Executive Director Cheryl Smith said. “Our hope is that UCP will continue to thrive and meet the growing needs of Huntsville and Tennessee Valley communities through cutting-edge technology, personalized training and widespread advocacy. The new UCP Technology and Training Center will perpetuate this hope for generations to come with the help of community leaders like the Venturi Brighter Day Employee Fund, Inc.”
The Mosaic of Hope capital campaign is a celebration of life. Every gift is appreciated and each gift will help to assure the continued existence of UCP’s mission to serve individuals with disabilities and to preserve services for future generations.
Every contributor will be acknowledged and recognition will be displayed in the new facility for gifts of $1,000 or more. The campaign provides an opportunity for benefactors to associate their names, or that of a loved one, permanently with United Cerebral Palsy of Huntsville & Tennessee Valley, Inc.
- $1,000: Ability Level
- $2,500: Dignity Level
- $5,000: Opportunity Level
- $7,500: Empowerment Level
- $10,000 and higher: Independence Level
With commitments starting at $5,000, an area may also be named for, or in honor or memory of, an individual, group, business or foundation. All named gifts are reserved on a first come, first served basis.
