Description
This position reports directly to the Program Manager of the department and is responsible for working with children, adolescents and adults with a variety of special needs.
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
Prefer CNA designation
Must obtain and maintain First Aid/CPR Certificate
Must have valid driver's license and proof of auto ins.
Possess independent and/or reliable transportation and a clean driving record
Must pass clearance from Department of Justice
Willing to work a variety of hours, days, evenings and weekends at supervisor's discretion
Knowledge of development and physical disabilities, behavioral and medical issues
Must know behavior modification techniques
Must be able to lift 50 or more pounds
Able to adhere to reporting requirements
Understand verbal and written directions
Able to maintain calm in high stress situations
