Playing with the Fish...
For the May Support Group, the gang plus newcomer, Shannan Farr (The Disability Support Coordinator), took a dive under the ocean to Mystic Aquarium in Mystic, CT. They encountered a group of dolphins playing in the pool. Next on the adventure was stingrays where William, Shannan and Craig got a chance to feed and touch the creatures of the deep.
Next, the group took a self-guided tour through one of the aquarium's inside exhibits. There were frogs, sharks, and a lot of fish! The penguin feeding show came next, followed by a quick sea lion viewing. For the final big adventure, the undersea treasure hunters, went to a sea lion show where they were dazzled with spectacular sea lion stunts.
After all this the gang of land lovers sat and discussed what to do about the next meeting. It was a great day!
