Autism: Learn the Signs, and Act Early
Paint the Country Purple with Activities that Help Spread Campaign Messages about Autism . . .
April is National Autism Awareness Month. The Learn the Signs, Act Early national campaign is issuing a challenge to help spread the word to people in communities across the country about the importance of monitoring development early in a child's life -- the first step toward detecting a developmental delay and helping a child reach his or her full potential.
For more information on the campaign and for important information on autism, please go to the website for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, or click on this link -- http://www.cdc.gov/ncbddd/autism/actearly/howtogetinvolved.html.
