How Will My Dollars Help United Cerebral Palsy?
I want to help United Cerebral Palsy!
Up to $20 . . . will help purchase items such as craft kits and supplies. Students with complex developmental issues work with staff to complete simple craft projects and thereby, gain a sense of accomplishment.
$20 - $50 . . . will help purchase items such as linens for United Cerebral Palsy’s seven group homes for adults whose developmental disabilities make it impossible for them to live independently.
$50 - $75 . . . will help purchase educational devices for UCP’s after school program at Capstone Academy. Specially designed “toys” provide stimulation for elementary and middle school children who cannot be accommodated by typical after school programs.
$75 - $100 . . . will help purchase instructional software for teens and young adults with developmental disabilities who are training at United Cerebral Palsy’s Transition Employment Center because they want to work and be self reliant.
$100 & up . . . will help defray the cost of (just to name a few areas of need) . . .
-- maintaining a fleet of 21 vehicles dedicated to helping people with developmental disabilities
-- providing early intervention services to babies and their families
-- preparing preschoolers for success in the regular school system
