CSC's Parent Place to Relocate
The
Parent Place, Children’s Services Center’s unique program that puts toys and books into the hands of children who might otherwise not have any, is moving
from its current location at 3300 North Pace Boulevard Suite 230 (Town and Country Plaza) to 1000 West Leonard Street in Pensacola. The Parent Place will reopen on January 12
Over thirty Escambia County family-oriented programs ranging from schools, Head Start and child care programs to health and welfare organizations such as Families First Network and the Department of Health distribute Parent Place certificates to parents participating in their parenting education and parent involvement activities. Parents can then redeem their certificates for toys and books at the Parent Place
The move is a result of Children’s Services Center’s recent merger with United Cerebral Palsy of Northwest Florida, Inc. “This new location will allow for increased efficiency and effectiveness of the combined organizations,” noted Becky Kirsch Executive Director of Children’s Services Center. “We look forward to welcoming parents, donors, and representatives from family-oriented organizations to the new space.”
The Parent Place relies entirely on donations of new and gently used toys and books to remain completely stocked. For more information about the Parent Place or how to participate in the program call Nancy Wolfe at 595-5921.
