Great Minnesota Stationary Bike Race

Man and small child on a bike, both in red shirts, both raising their arms. Join us for the Great Minnesota Stationary Bike Race at the Saint Paul River Centre, 175 West Kellogg Blvd. Saint Paul on Saturday, April 5th.

Participate as an individual or create a team of 10 and come pedal to improve the quality of life for someone with cerebral palsy. A packet of fund raising materials will be sent to you. The event involves individuals riding a bike mounted on a trainer. Each person raising a minimum of $100 will receive a t-shirt. Each person rides for 25 minutes. Computers are mounted on the bikes to keep track of mileage.

Prizes are awarded to individuals riding the most miles, to teams with the most miles and to the team having the most fun. Prize categories include women, men, youth (13-17); children (12 and under) and adapted (for people in wheelchairs or using an adapted bike).

The first rider starts at 9:00 a.m. and the last rider is done by 2:00 p.m.

If you would like to volunteer complete the volunteer form (read also our letter about volunteering at the Great Minnesota Stationary Bike Race) and return the form to UCP of Minnesota by March 21, 2008.
