1st Annual Bowl for a Cause Brings in Dollars for UCP
$3,974 was recently contributed to UCP as a result of a new local fundraiser organized by Commerce Bank and Belt Bowl.
One hundred and fifty people bowled to raise money for local charities on July 20, 2008. Each of the 30 teams was asked to raise a minimum of $500 for one of ten local charities.
Seven teams donated the money they raised to UCP directly.
UCP received the second largest donation amount of the selected charities for the day.
Thank you Commerce Bank! Thank you Belt Bowl! Thank you all bowlers and contributors! The money you raised will help children and adults who have developmental disabilities in Northwest Missouri.
