Community Services
Capital Care
Capital Care provides personal care assistance services by qualified and trained staff for adults with physical disabilities. This service provides assistance with basic personal care, including but not limited to personal hygiene, dressing and grooming, meal preparation/clean up, and homemaker and companion type services.
In response to many requests, we are now serving more people in our Capital Care program, by accepting payment through insurance or from individuals. Capital Care provides non-medical, in-home services and assistance in daily living to people needing support to remain in their home. The support may be long- or short-term, for senior adults, people returning home from the hospital or a rehabilitation facility, and people with physical disabilities.
Program Goals
To provide needed assistance for people with physical disabilities who are cognitively alert to remain in their home and active in community life.
