Adult Services
CSPPPD
The PA CSPPPD Program enables eligible adults who have physical disabilities to live as independently as possible in the least restrictive environment and prevents inappropriate/unwanted institutional care. This home and community based program provides the support individuals need to enjoy and make the most of living in the community. Consumers receive the support they need to join in community activities, volunteer and even seek paid employment.
CLASS provides services through this program in the following counties:
- Allegheny
- Beaver
- Butler
- Crawford
- Erie
- Lawrence
- Mercer
- Venango
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a physical disability which is expected to last for at least 12 months
- Require assistance to complete personal self-care
- Be a resident of Pennsylvania
- Have an in-home, in-person consumer assessment
- Be eligible for Medical Assistance
Services Available Through the CSPPPD Program:
Supports Coordination, Environmental Modifications, Miscellaneous Durable Medical Equipment, Transportation, PERS (life call system), Personal Care, Respite, Educational Services, Community Integration, Skills Training, Peer Counseling, Night Supervision, Adult Day, Supported Employment, Prevocational Services, and Community Transition Services.
If you can benefit from the following services but are denied by your insurance company, CLASS can assist you in obtaining the following services through the CSPPPD Program: Nursing Services, Coaching/Cueing, Cognitive Therapy, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy and Behavioral Therapy.
Funding
The CSPPPD program is funded by the Pennsylvania OBRA, Independence and COMMCARE waivers.

Any individual interested in receiving CSPPPD services may refer themselves or be referred by a family member, friend or professional by calling one of the following CLASS CSPPPD departments:
