CSPPPD

Sherry Harris playing games at the York Fair The Community Services Program for Persons with Physical Disabilities (CSPPPD) was developed by the state of Pennsylvania to give people with physical disabilities the opportunity to participate in activities outside of a nursing facility and to remain active, or live independently, in the community.

For consumers who wish to remain in a nursing facility, UCP will provide community integration services such as trips to local events or shopping centers and other opportunities to be active in the community.

For consumers who do not wish to live in a nursing facility, UCP will provide life skills training (check book management, record keeping, etc.), in-home personal care and transportation. UCP’s CSPPPD staff will also help our consumers to obtain the appropriate adaptive equipment or community services to make independent living a success.

For more information about CSPPPD, please contact UCP at (717) 632-5552 or send an e-mail.
