STEPS

Currently serving Baldwin and Escambia counties, STEPS incorporates community-based inclusion, job readiness curriculum, employment development, and follow up to meet the employment needs of individuals experiencing physical and mental disabilities. An individualized process is implemented, allowing UCP staff to work closely with clientele to determine their individual interests, while enhancing the client’s skills and abilities with an appropriate job in the community. These efforts help maximize the client’s ability to obtain and maintain employment, ensuring long-term job stability.
