Vocational Evaluation Services
Our Vocational Evaluation Services systematically determines a participant's vocational potential by combining data with results in both real and simulated work environments. We evaluate medical, psychological, social, vocational, educational and economic data to identify a realistic, individualized career goal based on a participant's cognitive, behavioral and physical functioning abilities. We use several universally-accepted assessment tools during the evaluation process.
A Vocational Evaluation:
- Measures academic achievement, grade level and physical capabilities/limitations
- Assesses work characteristics & aptitudes
- Identifies vocational interests and work temperaments
- Reports test results and observations
- Recommends realistic goals and steps toward securing and maintaining employment
During the vocational evaluation process, we conduct a variety of work samples, interest inventories, computerized tests and behavioral observations to assess a participant's ability for entry into the workforce.
Our Evaluation Report creates a profile for the individual using essential work traits identified for specific occupations by the U.S. Dept. of Labor and matches their profile to potential occupations with local and national standards.
