Vocational Training Services
Adult Day Training
Through supervised work and social experience training, we help participants achieve their individualized goals. We provide training with 1:1, 1:3, 1:5 and 1:10 staffing ratios based on each participant's specific needs.
- Facility-based work experiences include production contracts, woodshop, ceramics, food service, clerical and janitorial training.
- Community-based work experiences include mobile janitorial and lawn crew training enclaves.
- Adult Basic Education includes curriculum-driven classroom instruction in computer skills, math, language arts, life skills and employability skills, which enhances basic skills, furthers independence and prepares individuals for work and community activities.
Ceramics Shop
Since 1990, the participants in our Ceramics Shop have created a variety of custom quality bisque and ceramic products for special events and local businesses. During the holiday season, the participants work hard to produce the Official Holiday Ornament for Daytona Beach. Designed by a well-renowned artist, a new ornament is unveiled each year as the piece is added to the limited edition, collector's series.
