Summer Camps
Attending "Camp I Can" summer day camp at UCP is a huge anticipation for many special needs children in the community. Camps feature theme-based language, motor and sensory activities through arts and crafts, games, movement, music, snacks, hand-writing activities and computer time. The camps are staffed by physical, occupational, speech/language therapists, special educators and qualified volunteers. Community visitors also share their talents with the children to provide music, movement and art experiences.
Session 2 was July 12-16, ages 4-10, for children with ASD.
The annual camp is located at the UCP Therapy Center and is offered daily, 9 a.m.-noon, for one week. Cost is $200. Medicaid primary insurance payments accepted for tuition. Register your children early! Limited spaces are available on a first come, first served basis.
