Child-Care Enhancement Program
The Child-Care Enhancement Program includes on-site training, consultation, and technical assistance for parents and families, childcare providers, teachers, paraeducators on providing and inclusive environment for children with special needs. The training is free and includes such topics as principals of inclusion and strategies for identifying children who may be at-risk for developmental delays in areas of: cognition, speech/language self-help, skills, motor and social/emotional. Other training topics may also be available.
Curriculum includes: Play With a Purpose, a multi-disciplinary approach which utilizes developmentally appropriate practice in inclusive childcare settings.

- To identify possible areas of concern in a child’s development.
