Assisted Living
UCP has become a developer of housing for people with physical disabilities. UCP acquired a home through the Delaware State Housing Authority. This home, located in Newark, has been renovated and is the first Assisted Living home in Delaware for people with physical disabilities. Currently, four people are living in the house.
This is the mission that UCP hopes to achieve in its assisted living program - to provide less intensive services, in a non-nursing home setting, that will allow a person with a disability to still be part of community life.
