Adults for Action

Adults for Action (AFA) is a group of independent individuals interested in letting the general public know more about Cerebral Palsy and disabilities in general. Many of the members are persons with disabilities, such as Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Muscular Dystrophy, and others forms of disability. In addition to Advocacy and Public Education, AFA hosts monthly social functions for their membership. UCP of Delaware sponsors their activities.

AFA has three purposes:

  1. To promote the social life of our membership.
  2. To advocate for the rights of people with disabilities.
  3. To increase the general public's knowledge about people with disabilities and their world.

For more information about Adults for Action, please contact UCP at (302) 764-2400 or send an e-mail.
