Residential Program (Springfield/Bloomington)

The UCP Residential Program provides 24-hour support to individuals living in Springfield and Bloomington. Individuals live in their own homes or apartments within the community. Most people share their home with 1 or 2 roommates.

  • Individuals receive training in maintaining their home, money management, healthy lifestyles and self advocacy.
  • Staff are available to assist with meal preparation, housekeeping, recreation and community activities.
  • UCP works collaboratively with home ownership programs to assist individuals interested in home ownership to purchase their own home.
  • UCP maintains 11 fully accessible vans for use by individuals receiving residential supports.
  • Nursing staff are available to monitor medical needs, medication and assist individuals in obtaining medical care.
